After many rumors and leaks, 343 Industries has officially announce Season 3 and released a trailer.Season 3: Echoes Within will launch on March 7th and include many fixes, new maps, weapons and more!

In the trailer we can see 3 new maps coming, Oasis, a new Big Team Battle Map, Cliffhanger and Chasm, both new Arena Maps. A big highlight of this season is the new Community Collection Playlist which will consist of community maps that 343 can rotate in and out based on community feedback and are newly created maps or even remakes of old classic Halo maps.

During the trailer we can also see a new weapon the M392 Bandit and a new equipment the Shroud Screen are being added. With this trailer release it also seems 343 seems to be adding more story related content into its multiplayer to give it more life as other games have been doing like Apex Legends for an example.

There are many missing features still that were shown off in leaks that may be coming later in the season or in future seasons like Infection. It’s great to see Halo Infinite getting more content and here is hoping the future is bright, this season looks to be focused a lot on the community and bringing more players in with a heap of new content from the Dev team and its own community.
