Fix loadout reset bug post-Prestige.

Players of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 have encountered a frustrating bug where their custom loadouts reset after Prestiging, affecting weapons, perks, operator skins, and emotes. This issue has led to significant inconvenience, as players must manually reconfigure their setups after each Prestige

Understanding the Loadout Reset Bug

Upon reaching a new Prestige level, players are experiencing a reset of their custom loadouts, including weapons and perks. Additionally, operator skins and emotes revert to default settings, requiring manual re-selection. While resetting weapons and perks aligns with traditional Prestige mechanics, the reset of cosmetic elements like skins and emotes has been particularly irksome for the community.

Developer Response and Workarounds

Treyarch has acknowledged the issue, noting that players who logged in after the problematic update but before the subsequent fix may need to manually recreate their loadouts and settings. They have assured that Zombies medals, intel, and save file data will be restored, and Multiplayer progression, challenge progress, and medals remain unaffected. A future restoration pass is planned for affected users.

For players facing the issue, the recommended workaround is to manually recreate and reselect previous loadouts and settings. While this process is time-consuming, it ensures that players can continue enjoying the game with their preferred configurations until a permanent fix is implemented.

As of now, there is no confirmed timeline for a comprehensive fix, but Treyarch is actively working on resolving the issue. Players are encouraged to stay updated through official channels for the latest information on patches and fixes.
