In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies, Wonder Weapons are among the most powerful tools you can wield. While it’s possible to get lucky and pull one from the Mystery Box, there’s usually a more reliable method to acquire these game-changing weapons, often by crafting or assembling them.

Each Zombies map in the game has its own unique Wonder Weapon that must be obtained in a particular way. In The Tomb, however, there’s a special Easter egg that allows you to earn a free Raygun early in the game, giving you a significant edge, especially during the early rounds.

How to Get a Free Raygun in The Tomb

Yes, it’s possible to acquire a free Raygun in The Tomb Zombies map, and it’s not too difficult—though there are a few important steps you need to follow.

Step 1: Find a Shovel

To start, you’ll need to find a shovel. There are several locations where you can pick one up:

• To the right of the Quick Revive machine on the eastern side of the map
• At the top of the wall near the Death Perception perk machine
• In front of the Max Ammo crate inside the green portal room

Step 2: Purchase the Death Perception Perk

Next, buy the Death Perception perk. You’ll need it to proceed with the next step of the process.

Step 3: Start Digging

With both the shovel and Death Perception perk in hand, head to various digging sites around the map and begin digging. At some point, a green ancient gem will spawn. When you find one, make sure to pick it up.

Here are some of the dig spots scattered throughout the map:

• Spawn Area:

  • Near the Armor Wall Buy
  • Next to the generator on the ground
  • By the Rampage Inducer

• Red Portal Area:

  • In front of the Quick Revive perk machine
  • Right next to the Arsenal machine
  • Near the Max Ammo crate

• Death Perception Area:

  • Near the Death Perception perk machine
  • Next to the Deadshot Daiquiri perk machine

Step 4: Place the Gems at the Statue

After collecting all three green gems, head to the room with the Death Perception perk machine and the bull mural. To the left of the mural, you’ll find a statue. Interact with it and place all three gems there.

This will trigger the spawn of several Doppelghast enemies that you must defeat. Be ready for the fight, as these enemies can be tough.

Step 5: Collect Your Raygun

Once you defeat the Doppelghasts, the three gems will merge, and a burst of Essence will spawn, along with your free Raygun! Now you’ll have a powerful weapon to use for the rest of the game.
