Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, the ownership group of The Guard, the Los Angeles Gladiators, and the Los Angeles Guerrillas, is reportedly seeking buyers for its Overwatch and Call of Duty teams.
The Guard this morning laid off a majority of their team being announced by their former employees. During this time, it’s reported that they are looking to sell off the two remaining teams or their franchise slots and if a buyer can not be found by the end of the season, they may just shut them down altogether. The Guard also has teams for VALORANT and Apex Legends, but no word has come out about the situation of these two teams.

Guerrillas won their first major during Call of Duty Vanguard and are currently moving on to Major 3 in Dallas and with this recent news have some fans upset with Mark Bryceland making a statement himself on Twitter.
