A leaker has revealed unreleased finishing moves suggesting that MW3 and Warzone Season 5 will include a Deadpool crossover.

Call of Duty’s 2024 updates have already featured crossovers with major movie releases. For instance, MW3 and Warzone Season 2 Reloaded introduced Dune Part 2 cosmetics inspired by House Atreides and House Harkonnen.

While Activision has not officially confirmed any future brand collaborations, leaked animations hint at the Merc with a Mouth possibly joining Call of Duty soon.

The leaks were shared by dataminer Crashfty, who posted three clips on Twitter/X allegedly showing unreleased Season 5 animations. Interestingly, all three videos display finishing moves that are characteristic of Deadpool.

 

One clip shows a faceless soldier confusing their adversary with a 'made you look' trick before shooting them in the face and waving goodbye. In the second video, the soldier repeats the trick, then rolls behind their foe to finish them off and waves again.

The final animation leak depicts the character lying next to the downed enemy before shooting them with Deadpool-esque flair.

According to the leaker, MW3 and Warzone players can expect this content in a Season 5 update. Given that Season 5 is expected to arrive on July 24, this crossover makes sense, aligning with the July 26 release date of Deadpool & Wolverine.

This leak emerged just as Season 4 is winding down. Season 4 Reloaded went live at the end of June, introducing the Incline map, several new game modes, and two weapons: the Reclaimer 18 Shotgun and Sledgehammer.

The specifics of what Call of Duty developers have planned for Season 5 remain a mystery.
