With each new season, Call of Duty introduces fresh weapons, and Season 2 of Black Ops 6 is no exception.  One of the exciting additions is the TR2, a new weapon you can unlock.

Season 2 of BO6 brings a lot of exciting content, including the new Zombies The Tomb Easter egg, the return of the Ice Staff weapon, and new guns like the Feng 82, PPSh-41, and, of course, the TR2.

If you’re looking to add a new Marksman Rifle to your loadout, here’s everything you need to know about unlocking the TR2.

How to Get the TR2
To unlock the TR2 Marksman Rifle, you’ll need to participate in the Shadow Hunt event, which will run from February 13, 2025, to February 20, 2025.

During this event, you’ll complete a series of challenges (yet to be revealed) that will reward you with several prizes, including the TR2 and a Tanto .22 SMG blueprint. Once the challenges are live, we’ll update this page with more details.

The TR2 is a semi-automatic Marksman Rifle known for its top-tier handling and solid rate of fire. It’s perfect for fast-moving sharpshooters who want to blend mobility with precision and power.

This weapon excels at medium to long ranges, though it may struggle at close quarters. With its 20-round standard magazine, you’ll have enough ammo to take down a few opponents in multiplayer, but for Warzone, you’ll definitely want to use an Extended Mag.
