Vancouver Surge Roster changes

The Vancouver Surge has announced that Charlie "Hicksy" Hicks is parting ways with the organization.

The Englishman posted a 0.85 K/D during the first stage of the season, placing 49th out of 52 players. Although his performance in SND was solid (1.09 K/D and 0.76 kills per round), his respawn stats fell short, with a 0.79 K/D in Hardpoint and a 0.90 K/D in Control. The team plans to boost its slaying power by adding an SMG player whose pace better complements Jovan "04" Rodriguez.

According to a report by Intel sources via X, the Vancouver Surge had been considering Marcus "Afro" Reid and Travis "Neptune" McCloud as potential additions to their starting roster for Stage 2. However, with the recent news that OpTic Texas has dropped Cuyler "Huke" Garland from their lineup, the team’s plans could shift quickly. Notably, Huke previously played for the Surge last season alongside Jovan "04" Rodriguez and Jordan "Abuzah" François, making a reunion a strong possibility.

The current Vancouver Surge roster includes:
○ Jovan "04" Rodriguez
○ Jordan "Abuzah" François
○ Byron "Nastie" Plumridge
○ Coach Raymond "Rambo" Lussier
