In the original Warzone, the Roze skin was often dubbed "pay-to-win," but in Season 3, it’s the Terminator T-800 skin that’s catching flak. The $30 skin features a metallic skeleton, allowing it to seamlessly blend into the environment. Although it was nerfed, players still struggle to notice any real difference.
On April 7, the developers announced that they would be making a "visibility adjustment" to the Endo Titanium Core skin for the T-800 Operator to make it easier to spot. Players were thrilled at the news, as the skin had earned a reputation for being nearly invisible against certain backdrops, causing chaos in both BO6 and Warzone. The adjustment arrived on April 8.
Despite the patch notes confirming the update, players are still having trouble noticing any significant change.
In the past, skins like the Roze skin were nerfed several times during the original Verdansk, and more recently, the nearly-invisible Gaia ‘Groot’ skin was temporarily pulled for a fix after players argued the first nerf didn't go far enough. While the backlash to the Terminator skin hasn’t been as intense as with Gaia, players are still convinced that the nerf didn’t do enough, leaving a good chance that the devs will revisit the issue.
As of now, the $30 Terminator skin is not available in the store, so only those who’ve already purchased it can use it. However, that hasn’t stopped players from using it to their advantage in lobbies, taking full advantage of the camouflage.
