However, it seems that Nintendo has more GBA games in store for the service. According to dataminers, Nintendo has developed a GBA emulator for the Switch Online Expansion Pack and has tested 39 GBA games on it. Some of these games include:
- Astro Boy: Omega Factor
- Car Battler Joe
- Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
- Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
- ChuChu Rocket!
- Drill Dozer
- Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
- Golden Sun
- Kirby & The Amazing Mirror
- Mario Kart: Super Circuit
- Metroid Fusion
- Metroid: Zero Mission
- Pokémon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire
- Sonic Advance 3
While these games are not confirmed to be coming to the service anytime soon, they indicate that Nintendo has been working on expanding its GBA library for Switch Online subscribers. Some of these games are highly regarded by fans and critics alike and would be a welcome addition to the service.
Nintendo has not officially announced any plans to add more GBA games to the Switch Online Expansion Pack. However, some fans speculate that Nintendo may reveal more details during its next Nintendo Direct presentation or on its social media channels. Until then, players can enjoy the current selection of GBA games on their Switch consoles with a subscription to the Switch Online Expansion Pack.
