Season 5 Reloaded Release Date

MW3’s Season 5 Reloaded launches on August 21, 2024, at 9 AM PT | 12 PM ET. Players should anticipate some downtime before the new season is live.

New Fishfection, Paintball, and Defuse or Destroy Modes

Season 5 Reloaded introduces two brand-new game modes and brings back a fan favorite to multiplayer.

Fishfection tasks players with using only a compound bow and spear as their weapons. Similar to the classic Infection mode, the objective is to avoid being eliminated by fish operators or those who have already been taken out.

Paintball mode can be played in either capture-the-flag or kill-confirmed formats. Players gain enhanced movement abilities, and traditional bullets are replaced with paint splatters. While all weapons become one-shot kills, the objectives for both game types remain unchanged.

Defuse and Destroy makes its return from previous CoD titles. Much like Search and Destroy, teams alternate between attacking and defending bomb sites. However, in this mode, each round begins with the bomb already planted, making it a fast-paced race to either defuse or defend.
