The Call of Duty League (CDL) has unveiled its schedule and format for the 2025 season, which will span across seven months with five major events. As with previous years, each season brings slight variations, with changes in the number of Major tournaments, adjustments to the format, and ongoing discussions about whether league matches should begin before or after the holiday season.
This year's campaign includes the introduction of Minor Tournaments, three new teams, and a highly anticipated location for the Call of Duty Champs.

In addition to the regular season, the Esports World Cup will feature Black Ops 6 and potentially Warzone as post-season events. If the event follows a similar schedule to 2024, it may take place in August.

CDL 2025 Format
Similar to last season, Online Qualifiers will determine seedings for LAN Major tournaments, and teams will earn CDL points to qualify for the Championship. The schedule for Online Qualifiers will consist of four weeks and seven matches for Majors I and II, and three weeks and five matches for Majors III and IV.
The season will also feature two Minor Tournaments – single-elimination events held over three days. These will be seeded by standings halfway through the qualifying stages. Each Minor Tournament will offer a $20K winner-takes-all prize pool, along with valuable CDL points. Here’s the point breakdown:
- 1st place: 30 CDL Points
- 2nd place: 20 CDL Points
- 3rd & 4th place: 10 CDL Points
