The Haunting update brought a wave of new content, including Halloween-themed crossovers and weapons like the DTIR 30-06 Battle Rifle. Along with that, new camos were introduced to customize your weapons, all in preparation for Black Ops 6 integration.

One of these is the animated Cloud Watching camo. Here's what you need to know about how to unlock it.

How to Unlock the Cloud Watching Camo

To earn the Cloud Watching camo in Warzone and MW3, you must complete all eight challenges from the Purgatory Island event. While the camo can be used in both games, all challenges must be completed in the Purgatory mode in Warzone, which takes place on a terrifying version of Rebirth Island.

Here’s a list of the challenges:

1. Reach Torment Level 2.
2. Spend 5 minutes outside the Safe Zone without killing another Operator.
3. Get 50 Mercenary kills using the Terriball or while in a vehicle.
4. Commend 5 Operators while in the Safe Zone.
5. Get 5 Operator kills while in a vehicle.
6. Get 3 Operator kills using the Terriball.
7. Teleport 15 times using Portals.
8. Pilot the Flying Shipment.

Many of these challenges can be completed just by playing Purgatory mode, though some may require extra effort. If you're having trouble with any of them, here are tips for tackling the more difficult ones.

 

How to Pilot the Flying Shipment

In Purgatory mode, the Shipment multiplayer map can be seen floating on an island in the sky. To pilot it, you'll need to interact with a glowing pink control panel located in the center of the map. However, the control panel is hidden inside a hollowed-out container that's stacked on top of another container, making it easy to overlook.

The easiest way to reach it is by landing on the container directly across from it as soon as you exit the chopper. From there, simply hop across to access the control panel and take control of the Flying Shipment.

 

How to Increase Torment Level

To raise your Torment level in Purgatory mode, you simply need to rack up kills. The more kills you get, the higher your Torment level rises. As your Torment level increases, you'll also earn more XP for each elimination or for surviving to the next safe zone.

However, be aware that reaching a higher Torment level comes with a risk — players with elevated Torment levels are marked on the map, making you a target for other squads looking to take you down.

 

How to Commend a Player

To commend a player in Warzone, simply approach another player while in a Safe Zone and press the interact button. This action rewards you with a small amount of XP and completes one of the eight challenges required to unlock the Cloud Watching camo.

Safe Zones are easy to spot, marked by a large purple bubble visible when landing. Once inside, your perspective will switch from first to third person, indicating you're in the Safe Zone. In these areas, no damage can be dealt, but there are also no weapons or loot, so it's best to commend a player quickly and then return to looting and fighting.
