With just a few weeks until the official release of Black Ops 6, Sledgehammer Games had some fun by introducing a shotgun in Modern Warfare 3 that can eliminate multiple enemies with a single shot.
Call of Duty has seen its share of powerful shotguns, from the original Modern Warfare 2 Model 1887s to Black Ops 3’s Brecci, BO2’s KSG, and the SPAS-12. However, the JAK Volstrom is making a strong case for being the most powerful yet.
A new Aftermarket Part converts the Stormender into an electric shotgun capable of one-shot kills up to eight meters away. What makes this weapon unique is its ability to take out multiple enemies in one shot if they're close enough.
As demonstrated in the video below, Warzone Meta eliminated five enemies at once due to the electrical shock creating a chain reaction.
It's still unclear how many enemies this shotgun can take down in one shot or how close they need to be for the chain reaction to occur. But it's hard to argue against this being one of the best shotguns yet.
The Aftermarket Part is also highly effective in Warzone, though it's not quite as powerful. It can secure a one-shot kill up to 7.3 meters, but between 7.3 and eight meters, it requires two shots. Beyond eight meters, the shotgun deals no damage.
Additionally, while the JAK Volstrom can still down multiple enemies, it's far less reliable in Warzone compared to Multiplayer. The timing of this shotgun’s release is perfect, coinciding with Season 6's playlist that features five different versions of Shipment.
