Treyarch introduced a new playlist rotation for Black Ops 6, but players quickly noticed a surprising omission.

The beloved game mode Gun Game first debuted in the original Black Ops in 2010 and has since become a staple in every Call of Duty title. Known for its fast-paced action, players start with a pistol, progressing through a set of 20 weapons with each kill. However, a melee death knocks them back one weapon, making awareness and strategy crucial.

Over the years, various versions of Gun Game have been introduced, but Black Ops 6 followed the traditional format. Fans were excited to see its return in Season 2—until that excitement was abruptly cut short.

Black Ops 6 Removes Gun Game

On March 20, Treyarch brought back the Season 2 Moshpit, featuring all five new maps, and reintroduced Infected to multiplayer. While these additions were welcomed, they came at the cost of Gun Game, which was unexpectedly removed.
