Warzone Trailer Reveals Weapons Return

Leaks suggest that the original Verdansk map could make a return in Season 3, offering a glimmer of hope for frustrated players. However, COD leaker TheGhostOfHope warns that Verdansk may be Warzone's final chance at redemption.

If Season 3 doesn’t lead to a player base revival, there might not be a "Warzone 3" in COD’s 2026 release. It seems that Verdansk might not be the only returning content aimed at bringing back long-time fans.

In honor of International Women’s Day 2025, the Call of Duty social media pages released a new video celebrating the women in COD games and the community.

However, CharlieIntel noticed something interesting. In the last 10 seconds of the video, two characters are shown carrying weapons not currently available in the Warzone loot pool – the CR-56 AMAX and the Kilo 141 assault rifles.

Both of these ARs were last featured in Modern Warfare (2019) and Call of Duty: Mobile.

Since Activision has not made an official statement, it’s uncertain when or if Warzone and Black Ops 6 players can expect the AMAX and Kilo to make a return.

They may be introduced with Season 3, which is now scheduled to launch on April 3, instead of the previously expected March 20 release date.

Despite the potential return of these weapons, some players have expressed doubts about the tease, given the current state of Warzone.
