Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 3 Delayed

All signs were pointing to a late March launch for Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 3, but Activision has now announced a change of plans.

With the Battle Pass timer suggesting a March 20 start date, fans were eagerly anticipating the update, especially after leaks hinted at the return of Warzone’s beloved original map, Verdansk, making its long-awaited comeback after four years.

However, Activision dashed those hopes by announcing a surprising delay. The company revealed, "Season 03 is a big moment for Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 6, and we’re taking the time to deliver a great experience starting on April 3."

The developers also confirmed that more details about the upcoming season would be shared during Warzone's fifth anniversary next week.

While players understand the need for more time to ensure a polished experience, the delay has certainly left many disappointed. Given the growing frustrations, the pressure is now on Activision to deliver when the season finally drops.
