The Esports Awards return in 2024 with a new format, splitting the event into two separate shows. Below is an overview of the award categories and the finalists up for voting.

This year's show will be held alongside the final days of the Esports World Cup (EWC) in 2024, 2025, and 2026, following a new partnership between the Esports Awards and EWC.

Formerly known as Gamers8, the Saudi-backed mega event has evolved into an even larger tournament series in 2024. The Esports Awards will now serve as the grand finale of this expanded tournament.
