Treyarch has confirmed the long-awaited return of Firing Range in Black Ops 6, Season 3.

After MW3 brought back every MW2 2009 map last year, Treyarch decided to focus on creating fresh 6v6 maps for BO6. Out of the 27 maps in BO6 up to Season 2, only three have come from past games: Nuketown, Hacienda, and Grind.

That’s about to change in Season 3 with the much-anticipated return of Firing Range. Originally introduced in the first Black Ops game, Firing Range was later remade in BO3 and BO4, making it seven years since its last appearance. For those who missed it, Firing Range is set at a military training facility in Cuba, featuring a small layout with two buildings on either side of the map with a central building and trailer. 

Firing Range is touted as one of the all-time favorite maps by many Call of Duty veterans, and the remake is sure to be a fan favorite once again.
