The Return of Verdansk

Activision has announced that Verdansk, the original and much-loved map from Call of Duty: Warzone, will return on April 3, 2025, coinciding with the game's fifth anniversary. This reintroduction will feature the 2020 version of Verdansk, including popular locations like the TV Station, Military Base, Airport, and Superstore.

The map's comeback is part of the Season 3 update, set for the same release date. While Verdansk returns, gameplay mechanics will align with those from Black Ops 6, rather than reverting to the original Warzone mechanics.

This revival aims to rejuvenate the player base, following a decline since December 2024.

Players can prepare for the update by pre-loading, expected to be available 24-48 hours before launch. Estimated update sizes are 15-25 GB for consoles and 20-30 GB for PC.

Additionally, Verdansk's return will integrate with Black Ops 6 content, allowing compatibility with weapon blueprints and operators from the latest title. The map will also feature the popular bunker system, offering high-tier loot and new Easter eggs.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to revisit Verdansk and relive memorable moments from the early days of Warzone.
